Glass Half is a short film developed for a Storyboarding class at Savannah College of Art and Design. The story prompt was three randomly assigned words: Boat, Mirror, and Accountant.
The atmospheric perspective was created with a basic environmental fog node within Maya. Unfortunately, this made the character much more obscure when the camera was far away (as is the case with real fog). This was solved by designing a set of constraints that would measure the distance between the two points and automatically scale the fog to compensate.
